A magnificent trip with a scenic route, crossing the High Atlas, crossing the fertile valleys of Roses and Dadès, to sleep one night in the Dades Gorges. Once in Merzouga, the dromedaries will take us to the impressive dunes of the Sahara, where we will spend an unforgettable night. On the way back we visit Ouarzazate, and the route of the ancient caravans of the Sahara, in the High Atlas, will lead us to the kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou and Telouet, former residence of the Glaoui Dynasty.
DAY 1 MARRAKECH- ALTO ATLAS - SKOURA -VALLE DE DADÈS - GARGANTAS DE DADÈS
In the morning pick up at the hotel or riad accommodation in Marrakech, and departure to the Dadès gorges, passing through the Alto Atla, s up by the port of Tizi N 'Tichka of 2260m altitude. Visit of the Skoura Valley and one of its kasbahs We toured the Valley of Roses, through impressive palm groves and Berber villages, to the beautiful landscape of the Dades Valley. Dinner and accommodation in riad.
DAY 2 TODRA - TINEJDAD - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA (on track)
In the morning, after visiting the Gorges of Todra, we continue our route towards the dunes of Merzouga, traveling through extraordinary landscapes, and stopping in the village of Tinejdad for lunch, 48 km from Tinerhir towards Erfoud.
Estimated arrival near the dunes of Merzouga towards 4 in the afternoon. We left the 4x4 to ride on camel rides for an hour and a half, enjoying the sunset, until our nomadic haima in the dunes. Tea ceremony and dinner prepared by our Berber chef, followed by an evening with percussion music by the desert nomads. Night in Haima. (This haimas camp is located in the heart of the desert, all the haimas are provided with mats, blankets, pillows, sheets and the floor lined with typical Berber carpets) *
DAY 3 MERZOUGA - RISSANI - ALNIF - TAMNOUGALT - OUARZAZATE
In the morning we reach the 4x4 in a dromedary and get on the Rissani route. There we can visit his famous souq (traditional mrcado); We went through Alnif to Agdz, where we stopped at the old kasbah of Tamnougalt, to have a drink enjoying a landscape of extraordinary beauty. We continued to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 OUARZAZATE -Kasbahs of AIT BEN HADDOU and TELOUET-MARRAKECH
In the morning we visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where famous films such as Gladiator, Tea in the Desert of Bertolucci, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia and many more have been filmed.
We continue to climb the Atlas, by the old route that the caravans of the Sahara traveled to reach Marrakech. Located at 1800 meters, there is the extraordinary kasbah deTelouet, former residence of the Glaudi Dynasty. After the visit of the kasbah, we follow the route through the High Atlas back to Marrakech, making several stops to contemplate the spectacular scenery of the route. We eat on the route in a Berber village of the High Atlas and resume the road to Marrakech, where we will arrive in the afternoon. End of our services.
